The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning reviews with Microsoft the areas of enhancing partnership and joint cooperation

 Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, held an expanded working meeting with Sheikh Saif bin Hilal Al Hosani, Regional General Manager of Microsoft in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, in the presence of a number of officials from the Ministry, to discuss areas of enhancing cooperation between the two sides and developing technical systems.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Rumaihi confirmed the distinguished relationship and successful partnerships that bring together the government sector with Microsoft in light of the company’s great expertise, noting the importance of benefiting from this expertise and modern developments in the field of information technology, in light of the Ministry’s continuing efforts to promote digital transformation.
 For his part, Sheikh Saif bin Hilal Al Hosani, Regional General Manager of Microsoft in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, expressed the company’s commitment to expanding the scope of the partnership with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, and its keenness to enhance cooperation in developing housing services systems and linking them with artificial intelligence technologies.
He also confirmed the importance of exchanging knowledge and enhancing the capabilities of the Ministry’s employees in using the latest digital applications, and benefiting from technical developments in the field of digital transformation and providing technical services, through building sustainable cooperative partnerships.

The meeting was attended by Mr. HamadAl-Saei, Educational Sector Advisor, and Mr. Islam Omar, Microsoft RegionalDirector, on behalf of Microsoft.
