The Ministry of Housing was established in 1975 with the responsibility of regulating and developing the social housing sector and providing suitable housing services and solutions for citizens. Its efforts contribute to strengthening the stability of Bahraini families and supporting a decent quality of life. The Ministry continues to develop and enhance the sustainability of the housing system by diversifying housing solutions, developing integrated urban communities, strengthening partnerships with the private sector, and adopting innovative solutions and modern technologies to improve quality of life in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
