H.E. Amina Bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, confirmed the continued implementation of housing projects included in the Land Development Rights Program launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in partnership with the private sector with the aim of providing innovative housing options and solutions to ensure the rapid provision of housing units to citizens, in a number of housing cities, including support services and public facilities for beneficiaries.
 
This came during an inspection visit by the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning to the Al-Ramli suburb, in the presence of a number of officials in the ministry and the Housing Bank, during which she was briefed on the projects of the government lands development rights program and the 16 main sites in the suburb, which provide 3000 apartments. Preparing designs for 300 apartments to be ready for immediate implementation within the project.
 
During the visit, Al-Rumaihi pointed out the importance of providing all services in the existing projects in Al-Ramli suburb, which are proceeding at an accelerated pace and according to the timetable prepared for the program for developing government lands, where the Urban Planning and Development Authority contributed to preparing a number of suitable sites for this purpose.
 
Al-Rumaihi pointed out that the Al-Ramli suburb includes 16 main sites for the government land rights development program in partnership with the private sector, a project that will witness an expansion in the implementation of its stages during the next phase with real estate development companies.
 
At the end of the inspection tour, Al-Rumaihi noted that the Al-Ramli suburb project is one of the integrated housing projects that was built on an area of ​​100 hectares, and provides 4261 housing units and apartments, of which 1261 housing units were allocated to the beneficiaries, in addition to the existence of a general planning for the area that includes service facilities and support services, making it A site that attracts citizens for its appropriate location, stressing that the ministry will continue its successful housing path by working on implementing new phases of projects and supporting initiatives to diversify housing options for citizens through partnership with the private sector, and facilitating financing solutions for them in the next stage.
