Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, held a joint working meeting with His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Al-Mansoori, Director of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program in the sisterly United Arab Emirates, on the sidelines of the participation of the two delegations in the meetings of the second session of the United Nations Habitat held in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, during the period from 5 to 9 June.
 
During the meeting, they reviewed the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, and the efforts of the two countries in providing housing services to citizens, in addition to coordinating efforts and discussions on the issues raised in the meetings of UN-Habitat in its second session.
 
During the meeting, Mrs. Amna Al-Rumaihi discussed developments in the partnership programs between the government and private sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the promising results they have achieved, which is evident through the high demand for the housing finance program, and the ministry’s completion of the pilot phase of the government land development rights program, which includes 132 units. Residential, noting that these results encourage the expansion of these programs during the next stage.
 
For his part, Eng. Mohammed Al-Mansoori, Director of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, appreciated the Kingdom's efforts in providing housing services, and expanding innovative solutions to provide services to citizens, stressing the continuous readiness for cooperation and exchange of expertise and experiences, in a way that contributes to enriching housing plans in both countries.
