Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Planning, received in her office His Excellency Engineer Fahd bin Saleh Al Mutlaq, Undersecretary of Urban Planning and Lands at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of His Excellency Engineer Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Khayyat, Chairman of the Urban Planning and Development Authority, and His Excellency Engineer Assem Abdul Latif Abdul God, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, and a number of officials from both sides.
During the meeting, ways of joint cooperation and exchange of experiences were discussed in a number of topics related to the social housing sector and urban planning, and a number of common topics were reviewed, including the formation of a joint technical committee between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to develop planning solutions for residential neighborhoods, exchange professional, technical and successful experiences that will increase opportunities for cooperation and expertise between the two sides.
For his part, His Excellency the Undersecretary for Urban Planning and Lands at the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia appreciated the experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of social housing, especially the expansion of partnership programs with the private sector, whether through the Housing Finance Program or the Government Land Development Rights Program, which contributes to housing services, without waiting periods, he pointed to the convergence in plans and programs between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this field, and expressed his wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain for continued success, progress and prosperity.
