Her Excellency Ms. Fatima Ibrahim Al Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, participated in the twenty-sixth meeting of senior officials concerned with housing affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was held today in the sisterly State of Kuwait.
During the meeting, a number of topics on the agenda were reviewed in preparation for submitting decisions to the meeting of Their Excellencies the ministers concerned with housing affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the most prominent of which is the joint Gulf housing action plan during the period from 2024 to 2030.

 The meeting also discussed the latest developments in the joint housing information rules and the unified general rules for real estate owners in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in addition to discussing the General Secretariat’s proposal regarding signing agreements with specialized organizations that serve the housing field, the proposal to hold the Fourth Gulf Housing Week, and holding specialized conferences and workshops in the field of housing.

On the other hand, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning participated with the Undersecretaries concerned with housing affairs in the panel discussion entitled "Financing Solutions and Real Estate Financing Solutions," which was held on the sidelines of the Third Gulf Housing Week, which is being held in Kuwait during the period from May 18-22, 2025.

The immune agent said that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, since 2022, has adopted a new policy through which it has developed its financing programs, which currently number 6 types of multi-purpose financing options, which are facilitation financing (Real Estate Facilitation –, Cooperation Facilitation –, and Al-Bayt Al-Oud Facilitation), Mazaya, and Mazaya of the new category.With the addition of Tasheel+ financing, which was launched last April and was widely accepted by citizens.

She pointed out that the Ministry has placed the principle of expanding partnership with the private sector and promoting innovative programs and initiatives at the top of its priorities with the aim of achieving the maximum possible benefit from government and private sector resources to provide social housing services to citizens.


She explained that the Ministry, based on the principle of strengthening partnership with the private sector, launched a number of housing initiatives in partnership with the private sector to provide government-supported housing financing to citizens, and launched government land development rights program projects, leading to new housing initiatives that were launched in conjunction with the opening of a conference and exhibition.Innovation in the social housing sector last month.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning pointed out that diversifying housing options gave the citizen flexibility in choosing the appropriate path to obtain his housing service, whether by waiting for the readiness of the traditional path projects that the Ministry is working to implement, or through paths that provide housing immediately.
