The Equal Opportunities Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning held its regular meeting, headed by Ms. Donia Faisal Sarhan, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information at the Ministry.
During the meeting, the committee stressed the importance of continuing to integrate women's needs into the Ministry's policies and programs in various sectors and initiatives, consolidating gender balance standards in the institutional work environment, and in line with the objectives of the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2025–2026).
The committee also discussed a number of initiatives and programs aimed at promoting an integrated work environment and supporting the advancement of Bahraini women in various fields, thus promoting the principle of equal opportunities at all levels within the ministry.
