Minister of Housing and Urban Planning: 86% completion rate of the developed generation of buildings project in Al Hidd Housing City

Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, confirmed the continued progress of construction work on the developed generation of residential buildings project in Al Hidd Housing City, noting that the total completion rates in construction work on the project, which provides 740 residential apartments, have reached 86%, while the infrastructure services work on the project has been fully completed.
This came during the field visit made by Her Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning to Al-Hidd Housing City, in the presence of a number of officials from the Ministry, the Housing Bank, and the engineering and technical team, in order to follow up on the progress of work in the stages of establishing residential building project packages, and developments in projects to provide infrastructure services in the city, which represent the latest batches of housing projects implemented in Al-Hidd Housing City.
During the visit, Minister Amna Al Rumaihi stressed the importance of continuing to accelerate the pace of work on the implemented project, in accordance with the timetables set for its implementation, in a way that ensures the rapid delivery of housing services to citizens who have obtained nomination certificates, noting the efforts of the engineering team and project contractors.
The Minister added that the residential buildings project in Al-Hidd Housing City is the second project implemented according to the developed generation of residential buildings, after the residential buildings project in Salman City, noting that the project is distinguished by the coastal views of the buildings, which were selected according to advanced planning standards, in addition to designing residential apartments according to developed design models, in addition to the availability of all new services that were included in the new generation of residential buildings, such as parking lots and hanging gardens Green spaces, providing security and guarding systems, and developing common areas.
Minister Al Rumaihi noted that the development witnessed by Al Hidd Housing City in terms of completion rates reflects the government's keenness to quickly provide housing for citizens, whether through the axis of completing the implementation of housing city projects, or financing options and partnership programs with the private sector that provide immediate housing solutions, noting that the Al Hidd Housing City project is a fundamental pillar among the projects included for implementation in the government's program 2023-2026.
It is worth noting that the Al Hidd Housing City project is one of the main projects that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning is working to implement, within a modern residential environment that provides various basic services and community facilities, including schools, health and commercial centers, mosques and gardens, in a way that meets the aspirations of the Bahraini family.
