On the sidelines of her participation in the Urbanism, Home and Building Conference and Exhibition in Muscat The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning discusses with her Omani counterpart enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences

Her Excellency Ms. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of the Sultanate of Oman, on the sidelines of her participation in the Urbanism, Home and Construction Conference and Exhibition, hosted by Muscat, with the participation of a group of senior government officials, experts, real estate developers and financing institutions from various Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

During the meeting, Minister Amna Al Rumaihi praised the efforts of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in the Sultanate of Oman in providing housing services to citizens, through expanding the implementation of cities and housing programs, and the advanced results that the sisterly Sultanate of Oman has been able to achieve in this regard, congratulating the Minister of His Excellency Dr. Khalfan Al Shaili on the success of the Urbanism, Home and Building Conference and Exhibition organized by the Ministry, whose sessions witnessed many ideas and discussions that contribute to the development of housing initiatives and programs.

Minister Al Rumaihi also noted the housing projects implemented by the Sultanate, most notably Sultan Haitham City, which represents the culmination of the comprehensive transformation journey pursued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in the Sultanate of Oman towards sustainable urban development in line with "Oman Vision 2040".

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Khalfan Al Shaili welcomed the Kingdom of Bahrain's participation in the conference and exhibition activities, praising the efforts made by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in the Kingdom to develop urban policies and provide innovative housing solutions that meet citizens' aspirations, stressing the joint keenness to exchange experiences and enhance bilateral cooperation in a way that contributes to developing housing services and projects according to the best standards.
