The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has concluded agreements to implement 137 new housing units in Salman City, in partnership with Dilmun Real Estate Gate Company, the Al-Muayyad Contracting Company Alliance, Naseej Real Estate Development Company, and Bahrain First Real Estate Development Company, as part of projects included in the government land development rights program in partnership with the private sector.
The agreements were signed between Her Excellency Ms. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Mr. Amin Al-Aridh, CEO of Naseej Real Estate Development Company, Ms. Hala Farouk Al-Muayyad, CEO of Al-Muayyad Contracting Company, Mr. Abdullah Ali, CEO of Dilmun Real Estate Gate Company, and Mr. Omar Faisal Al-Tamimi, CEO of Bahrain First Real Estate Development Company.
Under these agreements, Naseej and Al-Muayyad will implement 24 new housing units in Salman City, while Dilmun Gate will implement 69 more housing units in the city, and Bahrain First Real Estate Company will implement 44 housing units as part of the project packages included in the government land development rights program in the city.
Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, confirmed that these projects come within the framework of the Ministry's plan to expand the implementation of government land development rights program projects across the Kingdom, which has achieved remarkable success in its previous projects, such as the “Suhail” project in the Al-Lawzi area, and the “Al-Naseem neighborhood project” in Salman City, the “Al-Wadi project” in Al-Buhair, and the “Houra Sanad project” Which provided hundreds of housing units to beneficiaries.
Her happiness indicated that the program contributes to accelerating Bahraini families' access to adequate housing by diversifying housing options, in line with the funding available to citizens, stressing that partnership with the private sector is a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainability in providing housing services.
The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning also appreciated the great demand from real estate development companies in the Kingdom to implement the program's projects, as bidding for project implementation is witnessing a growing demand from real estate companies, which encourages the continuation of offering the program's project packages, which is in the interest of providing suitable housing for citizens with innovative work paths.
Minister Al Rumaihi expressed her appreciation for the level of cooperation with Dilmun Real Estate Portal companies, Al Moayyad Contracting and Naseej Real Estate companies, and Bahrain First Real Estate Development Company, and their advanced engineering and technical level, which heralds the provision of residential units with high specifications and quality that meet the aspirations of beneficiaries.
For his part, Mr. Amin Al-Arid, CEO of Naseej Company, stressed that involving the private sector in implementing social housing projects in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning undoubtedly contributes to supporting the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom, and achieves integration between the two sectors in implementing development projects, especially providing housing projects that provide living stability for citizens, stressing Naseej Company's keenness to implement housing projects in partnership with the esteemed government, and provide housing services to citizens.
In a related context, Ms. Hala Farouk Al-Muayyad, CEO of Al-Muayyad Contracting Company, expressed her happiness at signing the contract to implement the project to provide 24 housing units in Salman City within the government land development rights program project, in cooperation with Naseej Real Estate Company, noting that this cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning reflects the level of partnership and cooperation between the public and private sectors to implement development projects in the Kingdom.
For his part, Mr. Abdullah Ali, CEO of Dilmun Real Estate Gate Company, stressed the company's pride in renewing cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to develop 69 housing units in Salman City, within the government land development rights program, which is the second cooperation after the success of the "Al Naseem District" project in Salman City, which provided 131 housing units, praising the objectives of this program, which reflects the advanced level of partnership between the ministry and the private sector to provide housing units for citizens Emphasizing that such housing programs and initiatives contribute to quickly providing adequate housing for citizens.
In turn, Mr. Omar Faisal Al Tamimi, CEO of Bahrain First Real Estate Development Company, confirmed that the company is keen to strengthen its partnership with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to provide social housing projects for citizens, stressing that the project scheduled to be implemented in Salman City reflects Bahrain First Company's commitment to supporting national development goals.
Al Tamimi expressed the company's pride in cooperating with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to provide housing units for Bahraini families within the government land development rights program, indicating that this program provides the opportunity for real estate development companies to participate in providing social housing projects in the Kingdom.
