Housing: Financing amounting to 630 million and 139 thousand Bahraini dinars was disbursed until the third quarter of the current year 2025, indicating that 81% of financing requests are requests transferred from traditional services to immediate financing options.
Minister Al Rumaihi pointed out that financing a "real estate facility" is at the forefront of the most popular financing options among beneficiaries of financing programs, as the number of applications received under this option exceeded 10,000 applications.
In a related context, Minister Al-Rumaihi said that the "Tasheel +" financing, which was launched in April 2025, is receiving great interest from citizens, as more than 600 applications have been submitted to obtain this financing, due to the advantages supported by the program and the diversity of financing purposes, including raising the financing ceiling to 81,000 and 91,000 dinars according to two tracks of the payment plan, in addition to the monthly installment not being subject to periodic updating Which encouraged citizens to take action in their decision to buy suitable housing.
Minister Al-Rumaihi praised the cooperation of partners in commercial banks and real estate development companies in supporting the housing financing program, which is reflected in the high rates of demand for these options, by providing facilities and offers in addition to the speed and ease of procedures, enabling citizens to complete their procedures without long waiting periods, and by using the latest real estate platforms "Beity" Which provides all the needs of the citizen under one roof, starting from the virtual tour service in the property, all the way to the stage of reserving the residence, paying the down payment, and completing financing procedures.Minister Al-Rumaihi also pointed out the role of the government land development rights program projects in increasing the rates of demand for financing programs, through successful partnerships represented by the "Suhail" housing project in Al-Lawzi suburb, the "Al-Naseem District" project in Salman City, the "Al-Wadi" project in Al-Buhair area, and the "Houra Sand" project in the Southern Governorate, in addition to the project to provide more than 3,000 housing units in Khalifa City, in addition to the housing projects implemented by the Housing Bank.
The Minister stressed that the number of applicants and beneficiaries of financing services is expected to increase during the last quarter of this year 2025, in light of the increasing demand from citizens to benefit from the immediate program options, and the expansion of partnership programs with the private sector to provide housing units whose value is compatible with financing and exclusive to citizens with housing applications.
