Mr. Abdullah Taleb, General Manager of the Housing Bank, confirmed that the new digital services that have been introduced in the "Beity" real estate platform aim to facilitate procedures for citizens who are about to benefit from one of the options of the housing financing program, by converting procedural transactions to benefit from housing financing to provide housing into digital services, pointing out that this comes within the framework of joint efforts with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to implement the objectives of the government program 2023-2026 On supporting projects to digitize government services and transactions and make them fully electronic.
The Director General of the Housing Bank pointed out that the most prominent new features included in the "Beity" real estate platform are the "digital tracking" feature, which enables citizens to follow up on the status of their application submitted to benefit from one of the housing financing program options from the application stage until the allocation stage and receiving the service, through an integrated electronic system that provides updated information about the application process and the party responsible for each stage This contributes to accelerating procedures and enhancing the efficiency and quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
He also explained that the second advantage is enabling citizens to book their residential property electronically through the platform, in addition to obtaining a financing offer from several banks financed through the platform, which allows citizens to benefit from housing financing directly from banks participating in housing financing programs, as banks review citizens' data and submit their financing offers digitally through the application, so that citizens can view them, compare them, and choose the most appropriate offer This feature thus allows the financing bank to complete citizen procedures in the fastest and easiest way possible.
Abdullah Talib added that the third feature is the "Digital Real Estate Valuation" feature, which is the service that the application is unique in launching for the first time in the countries of the region. This service will be available to beneficiaries of "Tasheel" options, for beneficiaries of financing through the Housing Bank. This service allows the citizen to request the digital real estate valuation service, pay the valuation fees, and receive the valuation report electronically, as the application has been directly linked to a number of accredited valuation offices in the Kingdom Which contributes to facilitating procedures and raising the efficiency of services provided to citizens.
Talib stressed that the Housing Bank is constantly keen to keep pace with digital transformation efforts in the social housing sector, which contributes to accelerating the pace of procedures for benefiting from the options of the housing financing program, and working to reduce and facilitate them, with the aim of saving time and effort for citizens, pointing out the bank's keenness to cooperate with all relevant private sector entities to enhance the services of the "Beity" application, which for its part showed a great response Pointing out that the new features available through the application constitute a qualitative shift in the path of digital housing services that we provide in the Kingdom.
It is worth noting that the "Betty" application showed progress and wide participation from users, following the conference and exhibition on innovation in the social housing sector organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank in the period from April to September 2025. During this period, the application achieved growth in the number of its users from 30,511 in April to 40,657 in September, representing an increase of 33%.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank call on all citizens to benefit from the digital services provided by the "Betty 2.0" application, and to benefit from new features and innovative digital services, which embody the Kingdom of Bahrain's leadership in the field of modern housing solutions, and consolidate its position in developing innovative models that support the national digital transformation process.
