The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning won the "Digital Innovation and Excellence in Human Resources Award in the Public Sector Category" at the ceremony organized by the Bahrain Society for Human Resources Management to honor distinguished institutions and individuals in the field of developing the human resources system for the year 2025. The award was received by Ms. Fatima Ibrahim Al-Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.
This award comes within the framework of keeping pace with government efforts aimed at implementing electronic transformation plans in line with the objectives of the government program 2023 - 2026, regarding supporting projects to digitize government services and transactions and make them completely electronic.
The Ministry also worked to develop the completion of all internal procedures within the digital transformation paths in all its services, and to develop human resources procedures in accordance with best practices, in a way that achieves efficient performance and keeps pace with the requirements of providing all services in a smooth manner.
The award represents an incentive to continue development and achievement across national competencies in the "Bahrain Team", which is efficient and innovative, and consolidates the culture of continuous development in institutional performance, expressing its thanks and appreciation to the Bahrain Society for Human Resources Management for this distinguished appreciation.
It is worth noting that this achievement is added to the series of achievements achieved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in appreciation of its efforts in developing digital services, including the Bahrain Digital Content Award for the best entity providing "integrated government services for housing services" in 2025, and the E-Government Excellence Award for the best website in 2023. The "Betty" platform also won the award for the best digital initiative in retail banking services in 2024 The remote customer service center platform won the platinum shield for its efforts in developing digital services.
