The Equal Opportunities Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning held its regular meeting headed by Ms. Donia Faisal Sarhan, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Chairman of the Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry.
During the meeting, the achievements made regarding participation in the eighth session of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for the Advancement of Bahraini Women were reviewed. The committee discussed the stages of progress in preparing the participation file, and the most prominent efforts made to highlight the Ministry's contributions to supporting Bahraini women.
The Ministry's operational plan was also discussed and the status of relevant performance indicators was reviewed, which contributes to ensuring follow-up on the implementation of initiatives and achieving targeted outputs in line with the Ministry's priorities, while at the same time supporting the directions of the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women 2025–2026.
