Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, received Mr. Jawad Abdullah Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Real Estate Association, and a number of members of the Association's Board of Directors.
During the meeting, the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning stressed the Ministry's keenness to continue enhancing cooperation and coordination with the Bahrain Real Estate Association and various partners in the real estate sector, in a way that contributes to developing legislation, programs and initiatives supporting the sector, in light of the important role it plays in implementing housing projects and programs, and achieving urban and housing development goals in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
A number of topics of common interest were discussed, including the government land development rights program and the off-plan sales system, in addition to ways to enhance cooperation in the field of social housing, in a way that supports the implementation of housing initiatives and projects and contributes to achieving the desired development goals.
For his part, Mr. Jawad Abdullah Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Real Estate Association, praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to provide social housing services to citizens, stressing the importance of strengthening partnership with the private sector in implementing housing initiatives and projects, in a way that supports the sustainability of the real estate sector and enhances the urban development process in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
