Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, affirmed that celebrating the silver jubilee of the establishment of the Supreme Council for Women represents a national occasion to take pride in the qualitative gains achieved by Bahraini women, and in the effective and influential presence they have established in various fields of national work, to become an authentic partner in the process of construction, development and shaping the future of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
 
She pointed out that the advanced status achieved by Bahraini women is the result of the visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the national foundations that His Majesty has established based on equal opportunities and enhancing women's contribution to various development paths In addition to the directives that Bahraini women receive from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, which has contributed to expanding the horizons of their participation and enhancing their presence in the comprehensive development process.
 
The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning said that Bahraini women have proven over the past decades their competence and ability to bear responsibility and participate in various development sectors, and have contributed effectively to the national work system, based on the supportive environment provided to them by the Kingdom of Bahrain that stimulates creativity, excellence and equal opportunities, which has enhanced their contributions as a major partner in achieving national goals and aspirations.
 
Her happiness was appreciated by the pioneering role played by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, stressing that Her Highness's presidency of the Council constituted a fundamental pillar in the path of progress of Bahraini women, and contributed to consolidating an integrated institutional approach that enhances the sustainability of their gains and raises Level of participation in various fields of work and development.
 
Minister Al Rumaihi expressed her appreciation for the efforts made by the Supreme Council for Women since its establishment, and the qualitative initiatives and programs it launched that contributed to supporting women's progress and enhancing their competitiveness and presence in various positions of work and responsibility, stressing that the Silver Jubilee of the Council constitutes an important national milestone to recall the achievements achieved and build on them towards broader horizons of giving and participation, which enhances the contribution of Bahraini women to the path of prosperity and progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
