Following digital integration with 11 entities to enhance the quality of housing services The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning wins the Best Integrated Electronic Service Award in the E-Government Excellence Award 2025

Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, confirmed that the Ministry's winning of the Best Integrated Electronic Service Award within the E-Government Excellence Award 2025 represents the culmination of the Ministry's efforts in implementing the comprehensive digital transformation plan and electronic connectivity with various entities related to housing services provided to citizens, in line with Government performance and digital transformation axis in the government program 2023–2026.

Minister Al Rumaihi explained that this victory came as a result of the ministry's success in building an integrated electronic system based on digital integration with 11 government and private entities, which brought about a qualitative shift in the quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens, and contributed to raising the level of data accuracy, reducing reliance on paper documents, and enhancing transparency in housing decision-making, in addition to simplifying the beneficiary's journey by providing unified and easy-to-use digital services.

The Minister said that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning was keen to adopt the best technical and security standards to ensure safe and seamless integration with government databases, which enhances the reliability of information and allows citizens to access electronic services with ease and security.

She added that the ministry has comprehensively redesigned the beneficiary's journey electronically, as the citizen is now able to complete his transactions without the need for personal attendance, in response to the suggestions and comments received by the ministry through various communication channels. The electronic system includes the ability to submit requests through the website, and follow up on the status of the transaction through instant notifications explaining its stages, in addition to obtaining consultations and support remotely through the customer service center and the virtual assistant In addition to the ability to evaluate the quality of the service after its completion, which contributes to the continuous development of services.
Minister Al Rumaihi stressed that this electronic system represents a fundamental transformation in the beneficiary experience, by integrating services, simplifying procedures, and improving the flow of the electronic journey, in order to provide an integrated digital experience that meets citizens' aspirations and supports the government's directions in enhancing digital transformation.

She pointed out that this achievement constitutes an incentive for the Ministry's work team to continue innovating more advanced digital services, in line with government efforts aimed at digitizing services and transactions, enhancing the efficiency and productivity of government work, and reducing time and procedures for auditors.

This achievement comes within a series of successes achieved by the Ministry in the field of digital development, including receiving the Bahrain Digital Content Award 2025 in the category “Integrated Government Services for Housing Services”, and the E-Government Excellence Award 2023 for the best government website, in addition to the Remote Customer Service Center platform winning the Platinum Shield in recognition of its efforts in improving digital services.
