Within the framework of the royal directives to provide 40,000 housing units, and in implementation of the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to distribute an additional 2,000 housing units to citizens, the Ministry of Housing today handed over the allocation certificates in the city of East Sitra, and the keys in East Hidd city for applicants within the lists that it prepared in advance, where the delivery process was carried out in accordance with the necessary precautionary and preventive measures in the distribution process.

The Ministry of Housing confirmed the continuation of the process of housing distributions to eligible citizens from various governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain at an accelerated and continuous pace of work. Within a timetable that ends next February, she referred to the integration of the work plan with regard to establishing new cities and development projects that contribute to creating more housing projects that citizens can benefit from, in order to achieve the objectives of the economic recovery plan.

The Ministry of Housing pointed out that these housing projects provide walking and cycling paths, as well as the availability of open spaces and interest in afforestation and green spaces, and some of them are distinguished by their locations overlooking the sea fronts, within the framework of the government's keenness to provide the elements of quality of life in housing projects. She indicated her constant keenness to provide housing and development requirements in order to provide the best services to citizens that meet all future aspirations.
