In implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, for the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to hold events and exhibitions that contribute to introducing housing financing services and programmes, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister sponsored the opening of the Home Finance Exhibition this morning, at City Center Bahrain, in the presence of a number of Their Highnesses, Excellencies, Ministers and officials.

On this occasion, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa stressed that the organization of the housing finance exhibition, in its second year in a row, comes within the framework of the efforts aimed at keeping pace with the lofty royal visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the directives His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to provide the requirements and needs of citizens that meet their aspirations for a decent life, foremost of which is the provision of adequate housing.

His Excellency pointed out that the government continues to develop its policies to ensure the sustainability of housing services as part of its endeavor to provide innovative solutions that meet the needs of citizens, through the housing finance program that was launched in August of last year, and the government land development rights program, which today witnessed the inauguration of the first His projects and the announcement of its completion, which is the "Suhail" housing project located in the Al-Lawzi suburb, which provides 132 housing units in a step that reflects the success of the model based on partnership with the private sector.
