Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, received, in the presence of His Excellency Engineer Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Khayyat, CEO of the Urban Planning and Development Authority, His Excellency Engineer Asim Abdul Latif Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Engineer Mazen Al Omran, President of the Bahraini Engineering Offices Association, and members of the Council Association management.
During the meeting, Her Excellency the Minister stressed the keenness to continue coordination with all engineering offices in order to develop joint work mechanisms between the government and private sectors, and to meet the aspirations of the engineering sector, whether in the field of housing or in the field of urban planning and development, and in a way that contributes to supporting the urban development witnessed by the Kingdom. It achieves the objectives of the government program in strengthening partnership with the private sector, which contributes to increasing and diversifying housing solutions for citizens.
For his part, Engineer Mazen Al-Omran, President of the Bahraini Engineering Offices Society, praised the role of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in supporting the private sector and involving it in developing and providing housing services to citizens, as well as the Ministry’s support for the efforts of real estate institutions and companies, praising the existing joint cooperation with the Ministry and the Urban Planning and Development Authority, which It undoubtedly contributes to enhancing the development of this vital and important sector for the benefit of everyone.
