Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, held a number of bilateral meetings with His Excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Hamad Abdullah Al-Attiyah, Minister of Municipality in the sisterly State of Qatar, and His Excellency Engineer Sherif Magdy El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt Mr. Antonio Campagnoli, President of the International Real Estate Federation, on the sidelines of her participation in the fifth edition of the Future of Real Estate Forum 2026, held in Riyadh, the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during the period from January 26 to 28.
During the bilateral meetings, ways of cooperation in the fields of urban planning, development and housing services were reviewed, and expertise, experiences and visits were exchanged, with the aim of enhancing plans and programmes in the fields of housing, planning and urban development. A number of topics related to efforts to develop the real estate sector were also discussed, in light of the discussions of the forum sessions.
Minister Al Rumaihi also touched on the Ministry's work paths to provide housing services to citizens, and the programs that the Ministry recently introduced to provide immediate and sustainable housing services, in partnership with the private sector, in addition to efforts to provide projects and services in housing cities.
The bilateral meetings discussed efforts to provide housing services to citizens, in light of the government's interest in the housing sector, in addition to reviewing the most prominent standards and visions followed by sister countries and international organizations in the fields of housing, planning and urban development.
