The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning wins the Gulf Engineering Union Award in the Distinguished Construction Projects category for the Salman City project

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning won the Gulf Engineering Union Award for Excellence and Engineering Creativity in the category of distinguished construction projects for the Salman City project during the ceremony organized by the Gulf Engineering Union at the headquarters of the Kuwait Society of Engineers in the sisterly State of Kuwait, where the award was received by Mrs. Fatima Ibrahim Al-Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.

On this occasion, Her Excellency Ms. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, affirmed that the Salman City Project's winning of this award reflects the success of the government's approach to adopting integrated urban planning that balances quality, sustainability, and engineering efficiency. It also embodies the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to developing modern housing cities that meet citizens' needs and keep pace with best international practices and standards.

Her Excellency the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning indicated that this achievement constitutes an incentive to continue developing housing policies and programs, and to enhance innovation in the fields of planning and implementation, which contributes to supporting the comprehensive development process, and consolidating the quality of life as one of the basic pillars of urban development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
