Al Saraya Real Estate Company delivered to citizens benefiting from housing financing options the units of the first batch of the “Al Wadi” project in the Al Buhair area in the Southern Governorate, in the presence of Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Mr. Saud Kanoo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Saraya Real Estate Company and Smart Skyline, Eng. Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayyat, CEO of the Urban Planning and Development Authority, and Mrs. Fatima Ibrahim Al Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning Mr. Abdullah Talib, Director General of the Housing Bank, and a number of officials from the Ministry and the company.
The ceremony witnessed the delivery of the units of the first phase of the project to the beneficiary citizens, after completing all construction and infrastructure works in accordance with the approved technical and engineering standards, provided that the delivery of the rest of the project units is completed successively according to the specified timetable, ensuring the rapid movement of the beneficiary families to their new residential units.
The Valley Project is one of the housing projects implemented in partnership between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Al Saraya Real Estate Company as part of the Government Land Development Rights Program. This program represents one of the most prominent housing programs aimed at strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors to provide innovative and sustainable housing solutions that contribute to meeting increasing housing demands, raising the efficiency of government land development, and supporting comprehensive urban development paths in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On this occasion, Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, stressed that the project embodies the visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to enhance the continued implementation of housing projects and programs that meet the needs of citizens and enhance the quality of life and family stability.
The Minister explained that the "Al Wadi" project represents a new qualitative addition to the series of housing projects implemented in partnership with the private sector, stressing that the government land development rights program contributed to accelerating the pace of implementation of housing projects and providing various housing options that meet the needs of citizens, in addition to supporting growth in the real estate sector and enhancing its contribution to the national economy.
The Minister also praised the commitment of Al Saraya Real Estate Company to implement the project according to the approved timetable and technical specifications, which reflects the success of the strategic partnership model between government agencies and real estate developers, stressing the Ministry's continued offering of more qualitative projects and initiatives that contribute to accelerating the fulfillment of housing demands and achieving sustainability in urban development.
Her happiness congratulated the beneficiary citizens, wishing them blessed housing and a stable life in their new homes.
For his part, Mr. Abdullah Taleb, General Manager of the Housing Bank, stressed the bank's keenness to be an active partner in supporting citizens' process of owning suitable housing, through the financing programs and innovative housing solutions provided by the bank, such as the “Tas'heel” and ”Tas'heel+” programs, in addition to advanced digital services that contribute to facilitating application and reservation procedures and accelerating access to housing services.
He added that the Housing Bank continues to develop the digital work system and enhance financial inclusion, which contributes to raising the efficiency of services provided to citizens, stressing the bank's continued support for quality housing projects implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, in order to achieve the goals of Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030 in the field of sustainability and quality of life.
In turn, Mr. Saud Kanoo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Saraya Real Estate Company and Smart Skyline, expressed his pride in the strategic partnership with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, stressing that the valley project represents a successful model of fruitful cooperation between the public and private sectors, and contributed to the implementation of an integrated housing project that meets the aspirations of citizens and provides a modern housing environment that has the elements of quality and sustainability.
He pointed out that the company was keen to apply the highest standards in design and implementation, ensuring the provision of modern housing units that meet the needs of Bahraini families, stressing that this partnership represents a fundamental pillar to support the development of the real estate sector and enhance its role as one of the main drivers of economic development in the Kingdom.
